A block by James Chapline in the final 10 seconds preserved a hard-fought victory for the Central Men’s basketball team, as the Dutch downed Coe College 66-63 on Saturday.  The game featured 11 ties and 10 lead changes, though Central held the upper hand for the game’s closing minutes.  

Leading the charge for the Dutch was Brock Caves, who scored 15 points, pulled down 7 rebounds, and dished out 3 assists.  Jack Bruns added 12 points and 7 rebounds.  The win was Central’s third straight and moved the Dutch to 11-8 overall and 7-4 in the Iowa Conference, as  they climbed within two games of the league lead.
