Five candidates remain in the running as the city of Knoxville searches for their next City Manager. The City Council chose six candidates they were interested in interviewing later this month at a meeting last week and five of those six have chosen to move forward with the hiring process.
The five candidates are Lake Ozark, Missouri City Administrator Dave Van Zee, Norfolk, Nebraska City Administrator Al Roder, Iowa Falls City Manager Brian Weuve, Midwest Partnership Development Corporation Executive Director Jason White and Fulton County, Illinois County Administrator Mike Hays.
The five candidates will be interviewed January 28th and 29th in Knoxville with the tentative start date for the new City Manager set for April 4th.
