Central College has announced performers for its 32nd annual Jazzmania concert. In addition to jazz ensembles from Central, the event will also feature special guest artists Hendrick Meurkens, a composer and vibraphone and harmonica player from Germany and Misha Tsiganov, a jazz pianist originally from Russia. Local students will also perform in the middle school and high school jazz contest. High Schoolers from Knoxville and North Mahaska will compete and also the middle school jazz bands from Pella. The evening performances will be held at Douwstra Auditorium at 7:30 pm Saturday, February 5th. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased by calling 628-9000
