Though the Knoxville High School Class of 2011 still has several months of classes left before graduation the Dollars for Scholars organization is already preparing for their annual scholarship night. President Curt Froyen says two new endowment scholarships have been established recently which will help Knoxville students continue their education. Froyen says the only requirement to receive a Dollars for Scholars scholarship is to apply and each student will receive a minimum of $500 which is sent directly to the institution they will attend. He says since the organization was established in 2004 More than $275,000 in scholarships has been awarded to graduating seniors in Knoxville.
