Panther fans are encouraged to fuel up before the big game tonight by trying a variety of different chilies made by local chefs. The Knoxville Education Foundation’s annual Chili Cook Off takes place this evening and features dishes by 10 chefs who are competing to for the coveted golden ladle.

The five dollar meal ticket includes chili, a ham sandwich, veggies, a roll and beverage and attendees can then vote on their favorite dish. Proceeds from the event will go to help the district purchase various items to be used in the classrooms.

The cook off begins at 5:30pm at the Knoxville High School prior to the girls and boys basketball games versus Pella Christian.
