The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad gets back on the court tonight against Grinnell. The Panthers lost to the Tigers in the teams last meeting in a game that Knoxville only scored 29 points. Coach Jim Utiermarkt says Grinnell is a team that they can play with. He adds if they can keep teams in the 20s and 30s they should win all of those games. Knoxville currently stands at 5-10 on the season.

The Knoxville boys have a big game if nothing more than a need to get the confidence back. The Panthers were stunned by South Tama in overtime on Tuesday night after losing a 20 point lead. Coach Clint Driftmier thinks his team will bounce back and give Grinnell a good game. He says the Tigers are very athletic and are still in contention for the Little Hawkeye Conference title. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 KNIA and streamed live on kniakrls.com with Derek Cardwell and Randy Flack tonight at six.
