The new ice rink at Young’s Park in Knoxville will officially open for the season this Friday. A ribbon cutting will take place at 5pm and the rink will be open to the public from 6-10pm. Chamber of Commerce Executive Office Coordinator Jessie Wilson tells KNIA/KRLS news the rink will be open daily during daylight hours and there will be adult supervision skating each weekend from 6-10pm. The Junior Chamber of Commerce will also be selling hot dogs and hot chocolate near the park during the supervised hours.
