The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released the findings of its study of flood probability for Marion County. The NOAA predicts a 25% chance the South Skunk River at Oskaloosa will reach flood stage. The Des Moines River has a 67% chance of seeing some minor flooding. Cedar Creek near Bussey has a 9% chance of minor flooding. The flood outlook study predicts that flooding is most likely to occur in mid-March.
