In a back and forth match between Knoxville and Norwalk wrestling squads last night, the match ended with Knoxville forfeiting the 215 pound weight class to the Warriors and Norwalk took the win 35-34. The Panthers held an 11 point lead after Skyler Spaur win by a pin to make the score 34-23. But Norwalk got a fall at the 189 pound weight class and clinched with match with the forfeit at 215. Knoxville Coach Eric Whitcome said several of the guys left points on the mat. Jay Fresh, T.J. Love, Cody Baker, Tyler Chatterton, Lane Colwell, Colton Spaur, and Skylar Spaur all picked up wins for Knoxville. The Panthers are now nine-and-eight on the season and will turn their attention to the Centerville Invitational tomorrow.
