Beginning Monday the Knoxville Recreation Center will be offering a new and unique fitness class. Stick to the Beat is a workout that uses drumsticks, stability balls and music together in a fun and upbeat cardio workout.
Wellness Supervisor Trish Worrall says this class can be fun for kids ages 9 to 90 and can be broken down to work for anyone. She says the powerful drumming rhythms take a little coordination but the class can help relive some stress and aggression while helping attendees get into shape.
The classes will be offered at the recreation center at 6:30pm Monday, 5:30pm Wednesday and 8:30am Thursday. All materials will be provided.
