The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has tentative plans to reopen county Highway T-15 between Knoxville and Pella sometime next week. Assistant Operations Manager John Holt says that if the weather cooperates and construction stays on schedule, travelers will be able to use the road over the dam. The latest closure facilitated work on the tainter gate lifting cables.
