The Pella Little Dutch have put together an impressive “first half” of the season this year. They’ve went 4-1, with the only loss coming at home against Norwalk. Pella has only played one road game thus far, but they will be tested quickly as they open up 2011 with 5 out of the first 6 games away from Pella.

The Little Dutch are proud of the season they’ve put together thus far, but they also know that there is a long way to go, and plenty of work to do if they want to continue their winning ways.

Recently Lucas Boyd was asked what the Little Dutch will focus on during the holiday break. He said they need to work hard to not foul, but at the same time not lose any aggressiveness defensively.

It will be interesting to see how the Little Dutch handle the upcoming part of the schedule. They head to Oskaloosa on Tuesday, return home for a game against South Tama, and they’ll follow that with 4 straight road games.
