Five wrestlers from Pleasantville advanced to the District next Saturday out of the class 1A Sectional on Saturday. Trey Busik was runner up at 130 pounds, Wes Prill was runner up at 140 pounds, Tasker Phillips won his weight class at 145 pounds, Jacob Donaldson was runner-up at 189, and Phil Lumley was champion at 215 pounds. As a team the Trojans finished third with 119.5 points. The five wrestlers from Pleasantville will now advance to the District this Saturday at I-35. In class 2A, P-C-M had to deal with a nationally ranked team in Ballard dominating the competition however the Mustangs did qualify six grapplers out of the Bondurant-Farrar Sectional. Dalton Kingery was champion at 119 pounds, Bryce Wignall was champion at 130 pounds, Zach Waddell was runner-up at 140 pounds, Trent Little was runner-up at 160, Dustin Moore was champion at 215, and Jake Tool won his weight class at 285. As a team P-C-M finished second to the powerful Ballard team. That runner-up finish allows the Mustangs to advance to the Regional Team Duals on Tuesday at North Polk where P-C-M will take on Dallas Center-Grimes while Ballard to wrestle Perry. The six individuals will also advance to the District in Nevada this Saturday.
