Bald Eagle Days will be here soon. County Naturalist Marla Mertz says she expects up to 1,000 students for student day on Friday and an additional 1,200-1,500 people on Saturday. The event begins at the Douwstra Auditorium, where the University of Minnesota’s Raptor Center will have several birds on display. Free shuttles are available to take people to Red Rock Dam to view the eagles as they fly and hunt near the river. The free, all-day event is Saturday March 5th and begins at 11am.
