The current Local Option Sales and Services Tax in the City of Bussey will expire at the end of next year, that is unless voters choose to renew the tax during a special election next week. Bussey has identified several specific purposes for which the revenues would be used if approved including new playground equipment, street repair, new building construction and early retirement of debt.

The special renewal election will take place in all Marion County communities next Tuesday.
