Central College women’s cross country team has been tabbed a Division III All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the third consecutive year.

To be tabbed as an All Academic Team, teams must compile a combined 3.10 grade point average (4.0 scale) or better and post a score at an NCAA regional championship meet. In 2010, the Dutch had a 3.38 mark. They finished 17th at the NCAA Central Region meet, accumulating 408 points. There were 167 teams honored.

Three Central runners received academic all-Iowa Conference honors. Those athletes carried a 3.5 or higher grade point average, were at least a sophomore in academic standing and competed in varsity competition. Sophomore Jenna Broghammer , senior Sara Crippen and sophomore Melony McDermott earned the distinction.
