The Marion County Extension Office will once again be offering free spring workshops this year. The five week series begins March 5th and will touch on a variety of topics including pruning trees and shrubs, composting, gardening 101, container gardening and making moss baskets. The short hands-on courses take place on Saturday mornings and aim to inspire confidence in each homeowner whether they are caring for a city lot of 5 acres in the country and provide them with the knowledge to be successful.
