The Pella Fire Department, Ambulance Service and Police responded to a truck fire today approximately 3pm at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. Scott Litwiller, Manager of O’Reilly’s tells KNIA/KRLS news he called the fire department when he noticed flames coming from under a customer’s pickup in the parking lot and determined the fire was too big to be put out by a fire extinguisher.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The vehicle is considered a total loss. The video below shows the PFD in action:
