The first of two public forums in regards to the special renewal election of Local Option Sales and Services Tax in Knoxville will be held tomorrow. As previously reported on KNIA/KRLS Mayor Don Zoutte recently appointed a six person LOSST renewal committee to help build awareness about the special election and how the 1% local option sales and services tax is beneficial.

Thursday’s forum will begin at 6:30pm in the council chambers of the Knoxville City Hall with a second meeting scheduled for February 24th at 6pm at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum.

All community members are invited to attend.
