Last week Knoxville High School wrestlers traveled to Des Moines for the state tournament and this week the boys bowling team will compete among the best in all of Iowa. The Knoxville boys bowling team quailed for the state tournament last Saturday at when the won the substate tournament Fairlane Bowl in Knoxville. Thursday the boys will compete against nine other 1A teams for the state championship trophy. Members of the team are Nick Worthington, Rylie Reidel, Daniel Goad, Jacob Weldon, Trey Pottorff and Billy Williams who are coached by Todd Hammann. This will be the team’s first trip to the state tournament.
