The Knoxville School Board met in regular session last night. At the meeting the board approved changes to the high school physical education program to include three options for students and approved an initial board proposal for the 2011-2012 master contract which includes a 1.5% total package increase. The board also changed their meeting schedule for the month of March and will meet the 7th, 21st and 28th to discuss the one-to-one laptop program and the budget. The board also approved a contract with Moss Roofing $93,300 for roof replacement at West Elementary and a contract with Strauss Construction for $26,989.64 for the addition of 14 new cameras at the high school.
