The Central College men’s tennis team found itself overwhelmed by the defending Iowa Conference champions on Saturday, as the Dutch fell 8-1 to Luther.  

Freshman Zane Hendricks picked up Central’s lone victory at No. 6 singles as he outlasted Luther’s Max Piepkorn 4-6, 6-2, 10-8.  Hendricks improves to 3-0 on the season.  

Central is now 3-4, and travels to Cedar Rapids next Saturday, meeting Wisconsin-Oshkosh at noon before facing Coe College at 5 p.m.
