Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty appeared in Pella today at a roundtable discussion at Pella Christian High School. The Republican, who has hinted at a run for President next year, was the first in a series of national, conservative political figures slated to speak in Pella as part of a lecture series presented by the Family Leader Organization. Pawlenty has ties to Pella. His wife’s grandmother was raised here, and baptized in the Des Moines River.
