Pella Christian Boy’s Overmatch Eddyville-Blakesburg

The Pella Christian boys overmatched Eddyville-Blakesburg from the start en route to a 69-29 victory in the first game of Class 2A District Tournament Monday night. Pella Christian seemed to have the game in hand from the tip-off as they out-scored the Rockets 10-2 in the opening minutes, never to look back.

The Eagles found themselves up by 24 by halftime of a game that was heard on 92.1FM KRLS and They would open up the third quarter with a deep bench and extended their lead to 33 going in to the final quarter.

Running clock set in just a minute into the 4th, as PC outscored Eddyville-Blakesburg 7-0 in the final frame, securing a second round appearance in the Class 2A District Tourney.

The Eagles will host the second round game Thursday night, and you can hear it on 92.1FM KRLS and Pregame is set for 6:45PM with tip-off at 7PM.
