The Marion County Board of Supervisors continues to discuss the fiscal year 2011-2012 budget. The board held a second special meeting with the conservation, zoning, mental health and veterans affairs/general relief department heads Tuesday to receive presentations on budget requests for the upcoming fiscal year. A third meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 8:30am in the boardroom of the Marion County Courthouse. Auditor Jake Grandia says the Supervisors hope to be able to meet everyday for the remainder of the week, depending on the weather.
