While her scoring was not one of the top players on the team, Alex Larson was known for her defense for Knoxville. Coach Jim Utiermarkt says his assistant Jeff Larson usually assigned the defensive match ups and normally put Alex on the other team’s best player. Utiermarkt adds Larson was also very quick which helped her defensive efforts.
