An awards banquet is scheduled for next Monday for young writers in the area who participated in the Three Rivers Reading Council’s Creative Writing and Poetry Contest. Students in all grades from Pella, Knoxville, Sully and Pleasantville submitted their work for the contest. The awards banquet will be Monday April 4th at 6:15 at the Pleasantville Elementary School. An Ice Cream Buffet will start at 6:30 and students will read their work beginning at 7. Here’s a full list of winners.
