You may notice more children out and about in town in the coming days as most area schools will observe spring break these next two weeks. Knoxville, Pella and Pella Christian students will be off of school Monday through Friday this week, PCM students are on spring break Wednesday through Friday, there will be no school for Melcher-Dallas schools next Monday and Pleasantville students will be off next week.
Motorists are asked to remain extra alert and watch out for children who may be playing in or crossing area roadways.
