Four men who hope to become the next Knoxville City Manager will be in the area today and tomorrow for the next steps in the hiring process.

As previously reported by KNIA/KRLS news the four selected candidates are former Davisson, Michigan City Manager Dale Martin, former Albert Lea, Minnesota City Manager Jim Norman, current Hibbing, Minnesota City Administrator Brian Redshaw and Harold Stewart current City Manager in Ogallaga, Nebraska.

The two day long interview process begins at 8:15am Friday and includes a tour of city facilities and area businesses along with interviews with the Mayor, City Council and department heads.

The council is scheduled to meet at 1pm Saturday to select the new City Manager and approve a contract.
