With spring around the corner, city construction projects will be starting soon. Pella Public Works Director Denny Buyert says there will be some road closures this spring and summer, but says they are for much needed repairs to some of the city’s busier streets. He says parts of the north Main project could begin as early as next week, getting some preparation work done with utility work beginning in early April. Buyert says there will be soft closures in affect, so the detour that was in place last year will be back. He says the road construction part of the project won’t begin until after Tulip Time.
