Like the football team he coached this past fall, Melcher-Dallas’s Ryan Conrad is directing a young boys track and field squad. Conrad says most of the team is made up of sophomores and a few freshmen. He says the juniors and seniors that he does have will be relied upon to not only lead the team on and off the track, but to score many of the points. Conrad adds he may have to use many of the younger runners in the events. Melcher-Dallas is at the Lamoni Indoor meet today which takes place on the campus of Graceland College.
