Work continues on the North Main project in Pella. Public Works Director Denny Buyert says crews have resumed watermain constuction, and they expect an additional sewer lining contractor to come in which should help speed up the process.

Buyert says a soft closure is still in effect and people who don’t live along parts of the road closed for construction should use the posted detours. He says the road will be opened back up ahead of Tulip Time and construction will resume after the festival.
