Former Pleasantville Softball Pitching Ace Chelsea Thomas threw her first career college seven-inning perfect game as she helped Missouri sweep Drake yesterday in a double-header 5-0 and 8-1. Thomas struck out 11 of the 21 batters she faced and tossed only 77 pitches. It was Thomas’ first win of the season after suffering two hard-luck losses in tournament action last week. Meanwhile…Former P-C-M Standout Lindsey Vande Wall went a combined 0/5 on the day, and was 0/2 against Thomas whom she faced in high school. Thomas now is 1-2 on the season and has paper-thin .95 E-R-A giving up just four runs on four hits walking four and fanning 32 batters.
