After 33 years on the Pella Police Force, Lt. John Van Haaften is retiring at the end of the month. To celebrate his years of service, a retirement party and open house will be held Friday March 25th from 2- 4pm at the Pella Police Department. Officer Paul Haase has been promoted to Lieutenant effective April 1st.
