Daylight will tell if the severe weather that passed through Marion County last night caused any damage. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has not received any reports of damage related to the storm that prompted the National Weather Service to issue a tornado watch, then warning yesterday afternoon that finally expired at 9:30 last night. KNIA/KRLS’s Severe Weather Action Team was on the air at 8 pm, just as the thin band of storms was moving into eastern Marion County. Confirmed reports of pea-sized hail and wind gusts of around 30 miles per hour were the main product of the spring system.
