Twenty-three different local talent acts are preparing for competition as Knoxville’s Got Talent is less than two weeks away.

The second annual event is a fundraiser for the Knoxville Noon Kiwanis club who will use the proceeds to bring the Missoula Children’s Theatre back to Knoxville this fall to work with local kids to produce their adaptation of Cinderella.

The 43 participants will display a variety of talents including dancing, singing and instrument playing.

Headlining this year’s show is the well known area ensemble, Basement Beat who uses a variety of professional and household items to create percussion in a way you’ve never heard it before. T

ickets for Knoxville’s Got Talent are available in advance for $5 at Iowa Realty, Iowa State Savings Bank, The Next Chapter, Peace Tree Brewing Company, Valley Bank and Wells Fargo.

The show will take place at Celebrate Community Church on Thursday April 7th, doors open at 6 and the talent begins at 6:30pm.
