Throwing two perfect games in a week has netted Former Pleasantville and Current University of Missouri Pitching Ace Chelsea Thomas three awards. She was named the Division one National Fast pitch Coaches Association player of the week. Also she was named for the same award by U-S-A Softball. In addition she grabbed the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week. In a seven day span Thomas did not allow a base runner in games against Drake where she struck out 11 batters and Sunday she set a new school record in striking out 15 batters in a win over Missouri State. In her three wins last week…Thomas struck out an amazing 36 batters…walked just one and opponents hit just .048 against her.
