After two straight times finishing runner-up to Knoxville…the Pella Boys Track and Field Squad was able to finish first and in front of their rivals from Knoxville at the Charger Relays in Chariton last night. The Little Dutch scored 153 points to Knoxville 129 in the large school division. Getting first place wins for Pella were, Chris Brogden in the 100, Lucas Steenhoek in the 400, Jace Versteeg in the 400 hurdles, and Dan Borgerding in the shot put. Knoxville was able to get wins in five events as Tim Shepherd won the 1600, Derek Seddon once again dominated in the discus, the Panthers also took wins in the four-by-400, sprint medley relay and took the four-by-800 by 13 seconds in a time of just over eight minutes.
