Central College held its sixth annual Service Day this week.
Students, faculty, staff and alumni turned out to help with community service projects in Pella and the surrounding area.
Lots of projects were completed despite the cold and unfriendly weather.

The Boys and Girls Club from Des Moines was on campus for a tour and got to ask a panel of students questions about college life.

Students picked up trash around Lake Red Rock and will use some of it to create musical instruments. Participants polished woodwork at the Pella Opera House and folded Klompen Klassic T-shirts.

Volunteers helped prep food at the Wesley House and also painted the rec room.
