City Manager Mike Nardini says the city of Pella is lucky to have such a big, well-known event like Tulip Time and says every department in the city plays a role. He says the month leading up to Tulip Time is busy for everyone, with street repairs, painting, preparing for vendor booths and of course the public safety workers preparing for a busy festival.
