The recent cold weather we have been experiencing not only is rough on fans attending the sports events around the area, but it is also frustrating to the athletes as well. Track and field is one sport that the runners and throwers prefer to have warm weather. P-C-M Girls Coach Joel Grier says he has his team wear extra layers just to stay warm. He adds if the cold temperatures are not enough, the wind was also a force to contend with. He says the wind especially to the runners is frustrating. However, with all the bad weather lately Grier says his girls have done well and hopes to see more improvement as the season gets to the regionals and state meet.
