The Pella City Council met in regular session last night. The Council accepted a resolution for road closures relating to Tulip Time, making that event officially scheduled for May 4 through May 9.
The Council also accepted the bid from CL Carrol Company of Des Moines for improvements to digester lids at the wastewater treatment plant for an estimated total cost of $945,000.
In addition, the council finalized plans to install a 4-way stop at the intersection of Broadway and Independence streets in order to allow new signage at Central College.
Approval of part of the agreement with the Central Iowa Water Association was also given by the Council.
