The Knoxville Boys Soccer squad will kick off the 2011 season tomorrow morning at the A-D-M Invitational. The Panthers will take on defending champion Des Moines East at nine and then battle 2010 State Class 1A qualifier Council Bluffs St. Albert at 10:30. The Panthers return a wealth of talent from last season’s state tournament team. Dylan Schrader returns as the leading scorer. Coach Jon Smith says Schrader’s goal scoring will be important this season. His 59 career goals are just one shy of the school record.
