Rain forced their matches with South Tama to be called off on Tuesday, however today the Knoxville Boys and Girls Tennis Squads hope to get in their respective contests with Grinnell. The boys will travel to Grinnell who Coach Joel Tonda says Grinnell may be the team to beat in the Little Hawkeye Conference this season. Girls Coach Nick DeMoss says the win over Saydel late last week gave his players needed confidence and proves that if they play well, good things can and will happen. The girls host Grinnell at the Joel Tonda Tennis Complex at Young’s Park in Knoxville. In related sports, the Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad will host South Tama May 26th in a makeup match. The boys and girls matches from Tuesday night have also been rescheduled to this Monday night with the boys at Grinnell and the girls hosting the Tigers.
