The Three Rivers Reading Council recently hosted a creative writing and poetry contest and the local young winners will be recognized with an ice cream buffet this evening. One winner from each grade 2nd through 12th grade in area schools was selected in the two categories. The recognition ceremony will be held tonight at the Pleasantville Elementary School where photos will be taken of the winners, followed by an ice cream buffet, poetry and writing readings and awards presentations.
