Melcher-Dallas Girls Track has already had two meets this young season. The Lamoni Indoor and the Albia Invitational on Thursday. Coach Jim Crozier says while the times and distances are not where they should be, he says there is plenty of time for improve before the postseason hits on the later part of May. Crozier adds one goal he would like to see accomplished the this is to keep the streak of getting a least one event to the state meet. Last season Delaney Jensen qualified as an individual in the 800 where she finished 15th, and the distance medley relay where three of the four runners return from a foursome that finished 23rd.
