Today marks the beginning of National Library Week. The Pella Public Library is holding a food for fines event to go along with the special week. Readers will be allowed to donate food items to erase late fines up to a maximum of five dollars. Acceptable items include non-perishable canned goods and other packaged food products. The opportunity to erase some library fines is open through Friday.
