A local high school student has been awarded a scholarship for his scholastic achievement and leadership in agriculture. Brett Beyer, a senior at Pella Christian High from Otley was awarded the $1,000 scholarship from Winfield Solutions, a subsidiary of Land O’ Lakes. The scholarships are given to ten high school seniors and ten first or second year college students from around the nation.
