Though they were playing on their home course, the Pella and Pella Christian boys golf teams could not keep up with Norwalk, as the Warriors took first place in a triangular hosted by the Little Dutch at Bos Landen in Pella. Norwalk shot a combined score of 182 to edge out Pella Christian by six strokes.
Pella’s Lucas Boyd shot the low round of the day with a 40 – taking medalist honors – but the Little Dutch finished in third place with a combined score of 195. All three of the teams will be facing each other again on Monday at the Little Hawkeye Conference meet in Grinnell.
