After a fairly lengthy lay-off caused by poor weather conditions, the Pella girls tennis team was finally able to return to competition on the courts Thursday; coming back with a 7-4 win at home over Grinnell.  

The Lady Dutch got wins in singles play from their number two through five-seeded players – Stella Armstrong, Jessie Ryles, Zoe Vermeer and Kara Burnett; while also claiming victories at numbers two, three and four in doubles.  

The Pella girls tennis team is in the midst of three straight competitions in Pella, as they will host the Pella Invitational Saturday morning, then play at Pella Christian on Tuesday.
